The Hardware
This website used to run run off of a Sun Netra T1 1u rackmount server. It is the machine under the Ultra 2 in the following photo. The machine has 1.5gb ram and two 73gb Ultra 160 SCSI drives. The site now runs on a Sunfire V100 running in a slightly faster colocation enviroment. The Original server is still a backup and staging enviroment.
The two IBM x305's serve as internal DNS servers and the Sunfire V100 is a general database system running MySQL. Switching is provided by a Foundry Edge Iron 4802 CF located at the very top of the rack. The Ultra 2 in the photo is a management system for the A3500FC fibre channel array as the main storage for my SAN it runs Solaris 9 as thats the maximum supported OS for the A3500FC. On the top of the rack is an EMC Connectrix DS-8 fibre switch which is really a Brocade Silkworm 2400 that serves as the main switch for the SAN. At the Bottom of the rack is an IBM Netfinity 7600 that runs Debian Linux with VMware Server with a number of VM's on it. My OpenNMS implementation runs within one of the VM's on this host as well as my primary windows domain controller. The Enterprise 450 is a Solaris 10 zone lab machine and is also quite useful for testing network related problems as I have multiple QFE cards installed for zones and networking. The E450 also has two zpools configured for ZFS testing. Not pictured is my Netra T4 with dual 1.2ghz Sparc processors running Oracle and Mysql.

Of course theres a lot of hosts I have not commented on such as the mysterious SGI Indy at the top of the rack and some of my extra Sun Netra's. Not all of the systems are kept going 24/7 and things are reconfigured as I need them for testing and general engineering tasks.
